Abstract
OBEDIENCE OF PREGNANT WOMEN TO CONSUME IRON SUPPLEMENTATION Abstract Provision of blood or iron supplemented tablets is useful as a reserve of iron and synthesis of blood cells. Pregnant women consume at least 90 iron tablets during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to describe the obedience of pregnant women to consume blood- supplemented tablets. This research is a literature review because it only summarizes the results of existing thoughts or research into a complete discussion. From the results of the study, it is known that from the six observations of the obedience of pregnant women to consume blood- added tablets, it ranges from 30% to 89.3%. Knowledge of pregnant women about anemia in the poor category ranges from 20% to 54.96%. The attitude of pregnant women towards blood- supplemented tablets with an attitude of not accepting ranged from 37.1% to 46%. A person's knowledge about health is one of the precdidposing factors that influence a person's behavior, so if pregnant women do not get information or counseling about anemia, it can affect how pregnant women avoid anemia.
