Abstract
RELATIOSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE WITH MOTHER’S ATTITUDE ON DEVELOPMENT STIMULATION OF 12-36 MONTHS CHILDREN ACCORDING TO MOTHER AND CHILD HEALTH BOOK ABSTRACT Stimulation of child development is one way to prevent developmental delays, in 2021 in Tumbu village it was recorded that 4,95% of children had developmental disorders and the lowest coverage of child development stimulation was 51,93%. The purpse of this study was to prove the relationship between knowledge and mother’s attitude about stimulating the development of children aged 12-36 months according to the MCH handbook. The place chosen as the research site is Tumbu village. The research method used is correlational analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample consist of 42 respondents and data collection using a questionnaire. The result of the study showed that the knowledge variable was 69,29% (enough category), while the results of the attitude variable research showed 67,82% (strong category). The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and mother’s attitude about stimulating the developmental of children aged 12-36 months according to the MCH handbook with a p value of 0,048 (< 0,05), which means that it has a fairly strong relationship with the direction of a positive relationship. It is hoped that the Puskesmas will continue to carry out counseling and provide information and choose media and counseling methods according to the characteristics of the target so that the information provided is easy to understand.
