Abstract

ACCEPTANCE OF FORMULA FOOD ON NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF IN-HOSPITATED PATIENTS (LITERATURE REVIEW) ABSTRACT Hospital nutrition services aim to achieve and maintain optimal nutritional status and accelerate patient recovery. Patients undergoing surgery or surgery are at risk for malnutrition due to fasting, operating stress, increased metabolism and others. Therefore, it is necessary to add calories and protein for patients who are given extra hospital formula. However, the acceptability of the extra formula is still low, so the patient's calorie and protein intake cannot be increased. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between acceptability and nutritional status of patients. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research using the study literature method. This research was carried out for 3 months, namely in March-May 2021. The source of the data was obtained from published research journals and traced to the database with the keywords: acceptability of hospital formula food and nutritional status. It was found that 7 related journals were included in the inclusion criteria for review. Based on the results of the literature review, it is known that the nutritional status used is normal nutritional status, obese I, light underweight and heavy underweight, with the largest sample being normal nutritional status. Acceptance data stated that the acceptability of the sample to the hospital formula was liked and somewhat liked. Data on acceptability of nutritional status states that there is a significant positive relationship between acceptance of weight gain and patient's or sample's BMI.
