Abstract

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BREASTFEEDING, NUTRITION STATUS OF BADUTH AND NUTRITIONAL CONSUMPTION PATTERN OF BREASTFEEDING MOTHER ABSTRACT Nutritional status is a balance between nutrient intake and needs. Assessment of growth according to nutritional status found that babies who are given exclusive breastfeeding have more normal growth than. The pattern of nutritional consumption of breastfeeding mothers and breastfeeding for babies is one of the factors that affect the nutritional status of the baby. The purpose of writing this thesis is to determine the relationship between breastfeeding and nutritional status based on the nutritional consumption patterns of breastfeeding mothers. This thesis is a scientific writing using a literature study approach. Research subjects in the literature review are breastfeeding mothers who have children aged 0-24 months. The number of literature studied was 15 journals. Literature search is carried out through a database (Google Scholar). The results of research from 15 journal Pustaka found that babies who received exclusive breastfeeding have good nutritional status in the range of 91.5% - 100%, while babies who do not get exclusive breastfeeding have good nutritional status, namely in the range of 59.1% -85%. Based on the relationship between breastfeeding and nutritional status of baduta, it is said that breastfeeding has an important role in determining the nutritional status of baduta.
