Abstract
CALCULATING ENERGY REQUIREMENTS OF CHILDREN 1-4 YEARS OLD WITH BODY WEIGHT CORRECTED ACCOUNT AND INDIVIDUAL ENERGY NEED CALCULATION APPLICATION ABSTRACT The energy demand figure is one of the main components in meeting individual needs. There are various methods and formulas for calculating AKE which are based on available measurement results such as weight measurement results. This study presents data to compare the calculation method between manual and weight-corrected AKE and with the application of calculating AKE of Dietducate using body weight data from the Anthropometric Standard for Children PMK No.2 of 2020. The purpose of this study is to determine the comparison of calculating energy sufficiency in children aged 1-4 years (12-48 months). Design of this study uses a simulation activity approach to calculate the energy adequacy rate. The results showed that the average AKE of boys aged 1-4 years based on the calculation of AKE corrected for body weight was 1.216,9 Kcal and based on Dietducate application 1.114,9 Kcal, while the AKE for girls according to AKE for weight correction was 1.164,2 Kcal and based on Dietducate application 1.074,5 Kcal. In this study, it can be concluded that the average AKE results based on the AKE formula corrected for higher body weight compared to using a larger than application of calculations AKE.
