Abstract
RELATIONSHIP OF NUTRITIONAL STATUS WITH BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS ABSTRACT Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM) is still a regional and national health problem. One of the PTM that has the highest number is Diabetes Militus. Nutritional status and blood glucose levels are closely related to diabetes mellitus. The purpose of literature review research is to determine the relationship between nutritional status and blood glucose levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients. This type of research uses literature review related to research topics. The method of collecting data through a single database (Google Scholar) was sought from 2015 - 2020. Descriptive analysis methods that process data by describing the data scientifically summarize the data. The subjects in this study were patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, male, female and aged ≥ 18 years. The research data includes data on the characteristics of the respondents (gender, age) obtained from the journals under study and then tabulated and analyzed qualitatively. The literature search results obtained 8 references that match the inclusion criteria related to the topics discussed. Based on the literature search conducted, five journals said there was a relationship between nutritional status and blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and three journals said there was no relationship between nutritional status and blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.
