Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF THE KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION ON ACUPRESSURE AT THE KERAMBITAN II TABANAN PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER IN 2021 ABSTRACT Definition of hypertension or what is commonly called high blood pressure, an increase in systolic blood pressure above the normal limit, which is more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure more than 90 mmHg (WHO, 2013). II kerambitan tabanan. The type of research used is descriptive research. This study aims to describe the description of acupressure hypertension sufferers. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. With a sample of 51 people who are people who suffer from hypertension. The results of this study indicate that the majority have good knowledge, namely 37 people (72.5%), the respondents have good knowledge of the largest hypertension sufferers, amounting to 54-62 years, namely 22 people (43.1%). There were 27 women (52.9%), that the respondents who had good knowledge were 21 respondents with high school education (41.2%). Respondents have good knowledge of working as civil servants as many as 15 people (34.1%). Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen about the knowledge level of hypertension sufferers about acupressure from well-informed respondents, but people who suffer from hypertension must stay informed in the era of globalization. Suggestions for people who are able to apply acupressure therapy to be able to reduce hypertension symptoms Keywords: knowledge, hypertension, acupressure
