Abstract
In Indonesia, the prevalence of anemia in 2018 in women aged> 15 years is 22.7%. One of the causes of anemia in teenegar is the knowledge and attitudes of teenager about iron supplemented. Besides that, consumption of iron inhibitor foods in teenager can cause anemia. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and attitudes of teenager about iron supplemented and consumption of iron inhibitor food at SMAN 5 Denpasar. This type of research is an observational study with a cross sectional design. Data were collected using the google form sample, namely young girls aged 16 years totaling 95 people. This study uses Univariate analysis using descriptive analysis results. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that students at SMAN 5 Denpasar had knowledge of iron supplemented in the poor category, namely 62.11% and most of the samples had a positive attitude of 98.95%. The frequency of consumption of Fe inhibitor in teenager is in the rare category 82.11% and the most frequently consumed types of inhibitors are tea, spinach, cow's milk, chocolate, peanuts, soybeans, and green beans.
