Abstract

RELATIONSHIP OF HIGH-RISK AGE PREGNANCY WITH ANEMIA EVENTS IN THE REGION OF THE TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTING UNIT OF TEGALLALANG I HEALTH CENTER ABSTRACT Pregnant women before 20 years old do not pay attention to the fulfillment of nutritional needs during pregnancy, which affects the nutrients the mother needs, such as bezi, which affects anemia. In pregnant women > 35 years old, needs a lot of energy because of weakened organ function. This study aims to determine the relationship between highrisk pregnancy age and the incidence of anemia in Tegallalang I Public health center. This type of research is a quantitative observational analytic study with a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study were 47 high-risk pregnant women who visited from January 2020 to April 2021 with total sampling technique. The results showed that there were pregnant women at high risk of experiencing anemia. The results of the Fisher’s Exact show that there is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between high-risk age pregnancy and the incidence of anemia in Tegallalang I public health center. Women of childbearing age are expected to plan a pregnancy at an age without risk. Key words: High-Risk Age Pregnancy, The Incidence of Anemia
