Abstract
CORRELATION BETWEEN NUTRITIONAL STATUS WITH ANEMIA IN PREGNANT WOMEN THIRD TRIMESTER IN THE REGIONAL TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION UNIT OF THE PEKUTATAN I PUBLIC HEALTH CENTRE IN 2020 ABSTRACT Pregnancy anemia is called "potential danger to mother and child" (potentially dangerous to mother and child) so anemia requires serious attention from all parties concerned in terms of health services. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between nutritional status and anemia in third trimester pregnant women in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of Pekutatan I Public Health Center in 2020. This type of correlational analytical research with a cross sectional approach. The sample collection technique was simple random sampling, totaling 131 pregnant women in the third trimester in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of the Pekutatan I Public Health Center in 2020. Data collection using secondary data was obtained from medical records in 2020. Analisis data menggunakan univariat dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan bivariat menggunakan Chi Square. The results showed that there were 17 pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (KEK) (13%) and 25 people with anemia (19.1%). The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and anemia in third trimester pregnant women at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of the Pekutatan I Public Health Center in 2020 (p value 0.000). For this reason, the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of the Pekutatan I Public Health Center should further increase outreach activities and provide education related to nutrition and anemia in pregnant women.
