Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE LEVEL IN TOOTH BRUSHING AT STUDENTS WHO HAVE OBTAINED COMMUNICATION THERAPEUTIC IN ORAL PHYSIOTHERAPY (Study Performed at SD service of nursing department of dental care in 2018) ABSTRACT Oral and dental care services is one form of dental health services that is held with a simple promotive, preventive, and curative approach, conducted in an integrated and continuous with the target of activities shown in vulnerable groups in this case primary school children. Promotive efforts in the form of providing therapeutic communication about oral physiotherapy for individual as well as dental health education for individuals and groups conducted once a week. The purpose of this study is to know the description of the level of knowledge of brushing teeth on students who suah never get therapeutic oral therapy physiotherapy on the primary care services Department of Dental Nursing 2018. The results of this study is the percentage of students who have knowledge level of tooth brushing with very good criteria as many as 53 students (66,25%), good criteria as many as 14 students (17,5%), enough criteria as many as 7 students (8,75%), criterion less as much as 2 student (2,5%) and criterion failed as many as 4 student (5 %) as well as the average student who has a tooth brush knowledge level of 80.1 with very good criteria. Conclusions from this study that students who have already received therapeutic oral physiotherapy communication mostly have a very good level of knowledge criteria.
