Abstract
In Indonesia, the number of Covid-19 cases is increasing day by day. One of the causes of the high number of Covid-19 cases is the low implementation of the Covid-19 prevention health protocol. Although the Covid-19 death rate is low, the risk of complications will be higher if it occurs in some vulnerable groups, one of which is pregnant women. In addition to the PSBB, the government is also planning a 5M movement program, which consists of wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds and reducing mobility. The purpose of the study was to describe the implementation of the Covid-19 transmission prevention health protocol in terms of the characteristics of pregnant women at the UPTD of the South Kuta Health Center. The type of research used is descriptive observational. The study was conducted in March-April 2021. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample of 100 pregnant women at the UPTD Puskesmas Kuta Selatan. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate test. The results of the study were the majority of respondents aged 20-35 years (95%), had secondary education (76%), and were multiparous (59%) and did not work (75%). The application of the health protocol to prevent the transmission of Covid 19 is in the good category (60%). Researchers suggest to keep providing the latest information related to health protocols to the public. Keywords:implementation of health protocols, prevention of covid-19, pregnant women
