Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF THE USE OF HERBAL INGREDIENTS (DADAP LEAVES) IN PATIENTS WITH DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER IN THE WORKING AREA OF PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER I NORTH DENPASAR IN 2021 ABSTRACT Herbal ingredients orginated from plants are a manifestation of people's active participation in solving health problems and their role has been recognized by various nations in improving the degree of public health. Herbal ingredients can also be used as fever-reducing drugs in DHF patients, one of which is Dadap leaves (Erythrina Lithosperma Miq). This study aims to identify the use of herbal ingredients (Dadap leaves) in patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever in the working area of Public Health Center I North in 2021. The research method used is descriptive research with a prospective approach model. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with 42 research samples. The results showed that most of the DHF patients used dadap leaf herbal medicine as many 28 people (66,7%) and not used dadap leaf medicie as many 14 people (33,3%). Based on this research, it can be concluded that most DHF patients often use herbal ingredients that is dadap leaves (Erythrina Lithosperma Miq). Suggestions for Public Health Center I North to maintain and continue to strengthen efforts to provide health education activities for DHF sufferers in the selection of herbal medicines as an alternative treatment for DHF patients.
