The aim of the study was to determine the characteristics of pregnant women with anemia. The method used was descriptive observational. The sample was pregnant women with anemia who visited the UPTD Puskesmas Selemadeg January 2018-December 2020 who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 44 people. Parity data collection, pregnancy distance, maternal age, occupation, and nutritional status (LILA) used secondary data. Univariate test results showed that pregnant women with anemia 50% primigravida, 50% multigravida, do not work 47, 7%, work 52, 3%, age <20 years 9, 1%, age 20-35 years 75% , age> 35 years 15, 9%, gestational interval <2 years 52, 3%, distance of 2-10 years 47, 7%, and nutritional status (LILA) <23.5 cm 4, 5%, LILA 23, 5 -28.5 cm 84, 1% and LILA> 28.5 cm 11, 4%. This shows that the majority of pregnant women with anemia are pregnant women who work, productive age and good nutritional status, so that in providing midwifery services this must be considered to prevent complications.
