Abstract
Knowledge is the result of knowing and this happens after someone senses a certain object. maintenance of good oral health we can prevent the occurrence of dental and oral diseases. Maintenance of oral health can be done through preventive efforts. The definition of a housewife as a woman who is married and carries out the responsibility of taking care of the needs at home. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge of dental and oral health care among housewives in Karangasem Regency in 2021. This research is Descriptive research carried out on housewives in Karangasem Regency in 2021, amounting to 51 people. The data used are primary data, namely from a questionnaire about the maintenance of dental and oral health as many as 10 questions which are answered with short answers via google form. The results of research on housewives in Karangasem Regency in 2021 are housewives who have a young adult age of 50 people, and who are in late adulthood amounting to one person. The percentage of knowledge about the maintenance of dental and oral health, namely, the good category amounted to 41 people (80.40%), the adequate category was seven people (13.72%), and the less category was three people (5.88%) with an average 85.68 with good category. It can be concluded that the knowledge of housewives about maintaining dental and oral health in Karangasem Regency in 2021 is in good criteria.
