Abstract
Pregnant women very commonly experience problems that interfere with teeth and mouth during pregnancy, including excessive salivation (hypersalivation), cavities, bleeding gums, gum inflammation (gingivitis). The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and attitudes about dental health in pregnant women in Bangli Regency in 2021. This type of research is a descriptive study using a survey design. The total number of respondents in the study was 27 pregnant women. The results of this study were 23 people (85.18%) of the level of knowledge in the very good category, the less category (0%), and 27 people (100%) in the good category. The average level of knowledge about dental health in pregnant women was 82.96, including the very good category, the average attitudes about dental health in pregnant women was 36.92, including the good category. It can be concluded that the level of knowledge of pregnant women on dental health in Bangli Regency in 2021 is in a very good category and the attitude of pregnant women is in a good category.
