Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF COMPLIANCE IN TAKING MEDICINES FOR HYPERTENSION PATIENTS WHO WHICH STILL ACTIVE WORKING AT UPTD PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER KLUNGKUNG II WORKING AREA IN AKAH VILLAGE IN 2021 ABSTRACT Hypertension is a condition where systolic blood pressure is 140 mmHg and diastolic is 90 mmHg. The treatment of one of them by taking antihypertensive drugs. This study aims to find out the compliance of taking drugs in people with hypertension who are still actively working in the Village Akah Working Area UPTD Puskesmas Klungkung II Year 2021. This research is descriptive research with cross sectional approach method. The way to take samples in study to use probability sampling with simple random sampling. The number of samples used in study was 71 respondents. Data collection using the MMAS-8 questionnaire. The results of study in terms of characteristics of respondents in the most age who suffer from hypertension, namely 46-55 years as much (49.3%), with the most gender of women as much (56.3%), the most education is high school and college respectively (50.7%) and (47.9%), the most private employees' jobs (49.3%). Based on the results of the study, most people with hypertension who are still actively working have adherence to taking moderate medications as much as (49.3%). For people with hypertension is recommended to remain obedient in taking medication to keep blood pressure under control. Keyword : hypertension, compliance, work
