Abstract

Description Of The Anxiety Levels Of School-Age Children Due To The Covid-19 Pandemic At SDN 5 Pedungan Denpasar Selatan In 2021 ABSTRACT The level of anxiety of school-age children due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Corona virus or severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2) is a virus that attacks the respiratory system, spreads through droplets. The Covid-19 pandemic is currently putting pressure on society, especially children. Children feel panic, anxiety and cause anxiety due to this pandemic. Anxiety occurs in children about the consequences of the Covid 19 pandemic because of fear and worry that they will be infected or infected with a virus that is difficult to recover. This study aims to determine the description of the Anxiety Levels of School-Age Children Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic in SD Negeri 5 Pedungan South Denpasar in 2021. The type of research used is descriptive research with quantitative methods. The population of this study was 268 people, the number of samples was 73 respondents. The technique used is Probality Sampling with simple random sampling. The results showed that school age children 10-12 years of age obtained a level of anxiety in the category of severe anxiety as many as 31 people (42.5%) and moderate anxiety as many as 22 people (30.1%), 11 people with mild anxiety (15.1%). ) and only 4 respondents (5.5%) were categorized as not anxious. The conclusion of this study is that some respondents have a severe level of anxiety 31 people. The child is expected to be able to cope with the anxiety experienced and adhere to health protocols. The results showed that school age children 10-12 years of age obtained a level of anxiety in the category of severe anxiety as many as 31 people (42.5%) and moderate anxiety as many as 22 people (30.1%), 11 people with mild anxiety (15.1%). ) and only 4 respondents (5.5%) were categorized as not anxious.
