Abstract
Pregnancy is one of the factors that can lead to increased dental and oral health problems, therefore pregnant women are required to increase their knowledge of oral health in order to avoid oral diseases. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of knowledge about oral and dental health maintenance in pregnant women at the location of KKN IPE Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health in Denpasar in Jembrana II, Jembrana Regency, in 2021. The type of research conducted in this study is descriptive research. The total number of research respondents was 24 pregnant women. The results of the research and data analysis showed that the knowledge of the most pregnant women was in good criteria, as many as 19 people (79%), pregnant women who had sufficient knowledge with sufficient criteria were four people (17%) and only one pregnant woman (4%) had knowledge. with less categories. The average knowledge of maintaining dental and oral health among pregnant women at the KKNlocation for the IPE Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Denpasar in Jembrana II, Jembrana Regency in 2021 with a good category was 83.33. It can be concluded that most of the knowledge of pregnant women on the maintenance of dental and oral health is good, but still found pregnant women with sufficient and insufficient levels of knowledge.
