Abstract
From the KKN / IPE data, the number of visits by pregnant women who cleaned tartar was 8%. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge about oral hygiene and tooth brushing behavior in pregnant women in West Denpasar in 2021. This research was a descriptive study with a survey research design. Respondents of this study were pregnant women, amounting to 30 people. The results showed that the percentage of pregnant women who had the highest level of knowledge was 13 people (43.33%) with the sufficient category and the lowest level of knowledge was 0 people (0%) with the failing category. The average level of knowledge of pregnant women is 62.3 with sufficient category. The percentage of pregnant women who had the highest tooth brushing behavior was 23 people (76.66%) with the very good category and the lowest brushing behavior was 1 person (3.33%) with the category needing guidance. Based on the results of research conducted on 30 pregnant women, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge about dental and oral hygiene in pregnant women in West Denpasar in 2021 is that the majority of pregnant women knowledge about dental and oral hygiene in West Denpasar in 2021 is in the Enough category. The average knowledge of pregnant women about dental and oral hygiene in West Denpasar in 2021 is in the Enough category. The majority of the brushing behavior of pregnant women in West Denpasar in 2021 is in the very good category. Key words: knowledge, behavior, brushing teeth, pregnant women.
