Abstract
The causes of dental and oral health problems in the community, one of which is the behavioral factor, the skills of brushing teeth in pregnant women that need to be paid close attention to because during pregnancy, pregnant women feel lethargic, nauseous and sometimes vomit, so that pregnant women take care of their teeth and mouth. can cause plaque buildup resulting in tooth decay. The purpose of this study was to find a description of the skills of pregnant women about teeth in North Denpasar District in 2021. This research was conducted in April 2021. This type of research is a descriptive study of 39 respondents at the location of KKN IPE Health Polytechnic Ministry of Health Denpasar in 2021. Types of data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. Data were collected by presenting a 20 question questionnaire in the form of Google from. The percentage of brushing skills in pregnant women is 35.90% of people have a skill level with good criteria, amounting to 20.51% of people who have a skill level with sufficient criteria, 43.59% of people who have a skill level with criteria needing average guidance The average of brushing skills is 60.20 difficulties. The conclusion of this study is a research on the skills of pregnant women on brushing their teeth in North Denpasar District in 2021 with sufficient criteria.
