Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF FAMILY SUPPORT ON DIET HYPERTENSION PATIENTS IN KELURAHAN EAST DENPASAR DELIVERY YEAR 2021 ABSTRACT Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which is an important health problem worldwide because of its high and increasing prevalence and its association with cardiovascular disease. Signs and symptoms include headaches, dizziness, and nosebleeds. One of the treatments for hypertension is to provide family support to the diet of hypertension sufferers. The aim of this study was to find out how to describe family support on the diet of hypertension sufferers. This research uses descriptive type. This research was conducted in Banjar Pabean Kelurahan Kesiman East Denpasar with a sample of 37 respondents using probability sampling techniques, namely simple random sampling, using a questionnaire. Data then processed by computerized and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results of this study indicate that 16 respondents (43.2%) have less support, 11 respondents (29.7%) who have sufficient support, and 10 respondents (27.1%) who have good support. It can be concluded that family support for the diets of hypertension sufferers in the Banjar Pabean, Kesiman Village, East Denpasar in 2021 is based on the results of less support as many as 16 respondents (43.2%). It is hoped that patients and families will be able to change attitudes to increase family support regarding diets for hypertensive sufferers such as reducing salt intake.
