Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HYPERTENSION WITH HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS IN KLUNGKUNG HOSPITAL 2021 ABSTRACT Hypertension is a health problem in all parts of the world and as one of the main risk factors for cardiovascular disease. The purpose of this study was to determine how the description of the level of knowledge about hypertension in hypertension patients at the Klungkung Hospital in 2021. This type of research is a descriptive research on 84 respondents based on primary data with questionnaires. The study conducted in the out patients and in patient room in Klungkung Hospital 2021 The results of this study obtained a picture of respondents based on age as much as 20-30 years as many as 52 respondents (61.9%), based on education with the majority of high school educated respondents as many as 39 respondents (46.4%). The picture of respondents based on the level of knowledge about hypertension mostly has a moderate level of knowledge that is as many as 46 respondents (54.8%). The results of this study is known that age and education affect the level of knowledge of respondents where the age group of 20-30 years have a good level of knowledge as much as 20 respondents (23.8%) and most of the last high school educated had a good level of knowledge as many as 16 respondents (19%). Nurses consider to have more role in providing education or information about hypertension to hypertension patients in order to increase public knowledge abaout hypertension, especially regarding the meaning of hypertension.
