Abstract
Knowledge is the result of knowing from humans and this happens after people have sensed a certain object. Dental and oral health is an integral part of complete human health. Caries is a disease of hard tissue that is characterized by tissue damage starting from the surface of the teeth (pits, fissures, and interproximal regions) extending toward the pulpa. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of dental and oral health and dental caries in class IV and V SDN 13 students in 2019. The research conducted was a descriptive study with 29 respondents, the results of research conducted on 29 students, most students have the level of dental and oral health knowledge in SDN 13 sesetan with the highest number of 23 students (79,31%) with good criteria and the average level of dental and oral health knowledge 83,51 including good criteria. The frequency of students who had the most dental caries criteria wash in students who had caries ≤ 1. And mean dental caries of 0,72. The results of research on average dental caries based on the knowledge of dental and oral health is highest on the criteria of a good level of knowledge with an average caries of 0,78.
