Abstract
Knowledge is the result of human and it happenned after people make a sensed spesific object. Oral hygiene is a condition or state of liberation teeth of plaque and calculus, both always forms on the teeth and extends to the entire surface of the tooth. Caries is tooth tissue disease characterized by tissue damage starts from the tooth surface (pits, fissures, and interproximal areas) extends toward the pulp. The purpose of the study to explain Description of Dental and Oral Hygiene and Dental Caries Grade IV and V Students of SD Negeri 2 Batuan Sukawati District Gianyar Regency in 2019. This study is description research with survey . the results of research conducted on 62 students, most of students have the knowledge oral hygiene with good criteria is 48,40% and average the knowledge is 71,53 % have the knowledge oral hygiene with good criteria. Most of student has caries is 49 student with the percentage is 79,03%. Average dental caries of students is 1,96 with moderate criteria.
