Abstract
BEHAVIOR OF TOOTH BRUSHING AND HYGIENE LEVEL OF ORAL AND DENTAL OF 5TH GRADE STUDENTS SD NEGERI 1 SUMERTA DENPASAR TIMUR SUB-DISTRICT 2019 ABSTRACT Oral and dental health is influenced by several factors, one of which is tooth brushing behavior. This study aims to determine the tooth brushing behavior and tooth brushing behavior and the level of dental and oral hygiene of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sumerta Subdistrict East Denpasar in 2019. This research is a descriptive study. This study uses a total population of 40 people. The results showed that the teeth brushing behavior of students with criteria needed guidance as many as 33 people, the criteria were enough that was 2 people, criteria were good 3 people, and criteria were very good 2 people. The results showed that the level of dental and oral hygiene with good criteria as many as 4 people, with moderate criteria as many as 32 people and criteria for bad 4 people. The average level of dental and oral hygiene possessed by Sumerta Elementary School 1 grade V students is 1,88 with moderate criteria. The conclusion of this study is that most students brushing their teeth need guidance and dental and oral hygiene criteriaarebeing.
