Abstract

Fast food is a favorite food for all people, including teenagers, the number of fast food circulating among teenagers that makes them like eating fast food rather than other healthy foods. In this study carried out on adolescents who often consume fast food which was done at SMAN 7 Denpasar with 82 samples. The study was conducted in June. The data studied in this study are the frequency, type, nutritional status, and level of consumption of fast food. The data studied using the research instrument form with the interview method and using scales and microtoice to weigh and measure height. The correlation between variables using the Pearson correlation test. From the research that has been carried out, 96.3% have an energy consumption level more than the average, while 3.7% have an energy consumption level of less than average and for fat consumption levels of 52.4% have a fat consumption rate of more than average and as much as 47.6% has a fat consumption rate of less than average. For nutritional status as much as 65.9% normal, 19.5% overweight and 14.6% obesity. From the statistical correlation test, there is no significant correlation between the level of energy consumption and fast food fat with adolescent nutritional status, this is indicated by the level of energy consumption with nutritional status, p> 0.05, which is 0.248 and the level of fat consumption with nutritional status, p > 0.05 which is 0.762 The Key Words : Fast Food, Compsumtion, Nutritional status
