Abstract
The healthy life community movement focuses on three main activities: checking health regularly, doing physical activities, and consuming vegetables and fruits. Based on national research results in 2013 found that there are 93.5 % of the population > 10 years old consume less vegetables and fruits. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and consumption intake of vegetables and fruits. This is a cross sectional study using 63 samples. The study found that there are 44,4 % samples had less knowledge category. The results shows that there are 98.4% and 73,0% samples consumed less vegetables and fruits as recommended per day respectively. There is no significant correlation between knowledge level and vegetable consumption level p> 0,530. There is a significant correlation between knowledge level and fruit consumption level p> 0,018.
