Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE OF BREAST MILK AND COMPLETE FEEDING TO MOM BY STUNTING (The study will be conducted at the UPTD Klungkung I Health Center in 2023) ABSTRACT Stunting toddlers need special attention because it can hinder physical growth, mental development and health status in children. Several factors can cause short toddler problems, namely intake of breast milk (breast milk) is the main factor that causes short toddlers and supplementary intake that is not optimal, recurrent infections, and micronutrient deficiencies. This study aims to describe the knowledge of breastfeeding and MP-ASI to mothers of toddlers with stunting at the UPTD Puskesmas Klungkung I in 2023. This study used a quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted from January to May 2023 with a sample of 68 people. The results showed that of the 68 respondents with the most age, namely at the age of 20-35 years, there were 39 people (57%), the mother's education, namely high school, there were 47 people (69.1%), there were 35 people (51.5%) working as self-employed, the most knowledge of breastfeeding and MP-ASI is quite good as many as 41 people (60.3%). The conclusion of this study is that the knowledge of breastfeeding and breastfeeding mothers with stunting shows that the majority is quite good with 41 respondents (60.3%). And as many as 14 respondents (20.6%) showed poor knowledge of breastfeeding and complementary feeding. This can be influenced by two factors, namely internal factors (age, work, education, paris and income) and internal factors (environment, socio-culture, information, and media). It is hoped that this research can increase knowledge about breastfeeding and MP-ASI for mothers who have stunted children. Keywords: Stunting, Knowledge, ASI and MP-ASI   GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN PEMBERIAN ASI DAN MPASI PADA IBU BALITA DENGAN STUNTING (Studi Dilakukan Di UPTD Puskesmas Klungkung I Tahun 2023) ABSTRAK Balita stunting perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus karena dapat menghambat pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan mental dan status kesehatan pada anak. Beberapa faktor yang dapat menimbulkan permasalah balita pendek, yaitu asupan ASI (air susu ibu) merupakan faktor utama yang menyebabkan balita pendek dan asupan pelengkap yang tidak optimal, infeksi berulang, dan kekurangan zat gizi mikro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan pemberian ASI dan MP-ASI pada ibu balita dengan stunting di UPTD Puskesmas Klungkung I Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan Cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Januari–Mei 2023 dengan sampel 68 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 68 responden usia terbanyak yaitu pada umur 20-35 tahun sebanyak 39 orang (57%), pendidikan Ibu terbanyak yaitu SMA sebanyak 47 orang (69,1%), terdapat sebanyak 35 orang (51,5%) bekerja sebagai wirasuasta, pengetahuan pemberian ASI dan MP-ASI terbanyak yaitu cukup baik sebanyak 41 orang (60,3%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu pengetahuan pemberian asi dan mp-asi pada ibu balita dengan stunting menunjukan bahwa terbanyak yaitu cukup baik dengan 41 responden (60,3%). Dan sebanyak 14 responden (20,6%) menujukkan kurang baik dalam pengetahuan pemberian asi dan mp-asi. Hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor yakni faktor internal (umur, pekerjaan, pendidikan, paris dan penghasilan) dan faktor internal (lingkungan, sosial budaya, informasi, dan media). Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang pemberian ASI dan MP-ASI pada Ibu yang memiliki anak stunting. Kata Kunci : Stunting, Pengetahuan, ASI dan MP-ASI
