Abstract

Kanker payudara merupakan tumor ganas yang berkembang di jaringan payudara Kanker ini umum terjadi pada kaum wanita dan sering ditemukan pada stadium lanjut sehingga menyulitkan pengobatan dan meningkatkan risiko kematian pada wanita. Wanita mengalami perubahan fisik dan perkembangan organ kelamin sekunder diantaranya pembesaran payudara selama pubertas pada usia remaja. Salah satu upaya deteksi dini kanker payudara dengan metode SADARI. Langkah pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) dianggap sebagai cara yang efektif untuk menekan angka kematian kanker. SADARI secara rutin bagi remaja penting dilakukan sebagai upaya pencegahan kanker payudara sejak dini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku remaja putri tentang SADARI di SMA Negeri 5 Denpasar. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi sebanyak 489 remaja putri, dengan sampel sebanyak 83 responden menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara proportional random sampling. Jenis data berupa data primer dan dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner melalui google form yang dibuat oleh peneliti sendiri dan telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian 59 responden (71,1%) memiliki pengetahuan baik, 55 responden (55,3%) memiliki sikap baik, 47 responden (56,6%) melakukan tindakan SADARI serta hasil pengukuran perilaku sebesar 64,7% dengan kategori perilaku yang cukup tentang SADARI. Kata kunci : Perilaku, SADARI, Remaja, Pengetahuan, Sikap Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that develops in breast tissue. This cancer is common in women and is often found at an advanced stage, making treatment difficult and increasing the risk of death in women. Women experience physical changes and development of secondary sex organs including breast enlargement during puberty. One of the method for early detection of breast cancer is the BSE. Breast self-examination (BSE) is considered an effective way to reduce cancer mortality. BSE routinely for adolescents is important as an effort to prevent breast cancer from an early age. The purpose of this study was to describe the behavior of young women regarding BSE at SMA Negeri 5 Denpasar. This type of descriptive quantitative research, with a cross sectional approach. The population is 489 young women, with a sample of 83 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The type of data is in the form of primary data and is carried out by filling out a questionnaire through a Google form made by the researchers themselves and has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the study, 59 respondents (71.1%) had good knowledge, 55 respondents (55.3%) had a good attitude, 47 respondents (56.6%) performed BSE and the results of behavior measurements were 64.7% in the behavior category enough about BSE.
