Abstract

DESCRIPTION THE COMPLAINTS OF DEPO MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE (DMPA) ON THE ACCEPTED MOTHER IN PRIMARY HEALTH CENTER I WEST DENPASAR IN 2023 ABSTRACT Contraception DMPA is a type of method contraception of injections containing depo medroxyprogwsterone acetate of 150 mg. Most acceptors are interested in using DMPA contraceptive, they think the contraceptive is effective and easy to use, however, DMPA contraception can cause some complaints including amenorrhea, spotting, weight gain, headaches, and decreased libido. The purpose of this study was to describe the complaints of depo medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) acceptors in Primary Health Center I West Denpasar in 2023. The type of research used is descriptive with the cross-sectional approach.Sampling uses nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling technique of 52 respondents. The results showed that the majority of the complaint of acceptors had a body weight and amenorrhea with 32 respondents (61.5%), the acceptor with 25 – 35 years old most had rather body weight with 19 respondents (36.5%), the acceptor with > 35 years old most had rather amenorrhea with 17 respondents (42.3 %), the acceptor with primiparous parity most had rather body weight with 19 respondents (36.5%),the acceptor with multiparity parity most had rather amenorrhea with 20 respondents (38.5 %), the acceptor with a length of use of ≤ 1 year, most had rather spotting with 17 respondents (32.7%) and the acceptor with a length of use ≥ 1 year, most had rather amenorrhea with 22 respondents (42.3 %) and body weight with 20 respondents (38.5%). Keywords: DMPA contraceptive, duration of use, DMPA acceptors MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE (DMPA) PADA IBU DI PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR BARAT TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Kontrasepsi DMPA merupakan jenis metode kontrasepsi berupa suntikan mengandung depo medroxyprogwsterone acetate sebesar 150 mg. Kontrasepsi DMPA banyak diminati karena dianggap efektif dan mudah dalam penggunaannya, namun kontrasepsi ini dapat menyebabkan beberapa keluhan diantaranya amenorhea, spotting, peningkatan berat badan, sakit kepala dan penurunan libido. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran keluhan Pengguna depo medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) Pada Ibu di Puskesmas 1 Denpasar Barat tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deksriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 52 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas keluhan yang dialami pengguna Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA) di Puskesmas 1 Denpasar Barat adalah ammenorhea dan peningkatan berat badan sebanyak 32 responden (61,5 %).Pengguna dengan umur 20 – 25 tahun paling banyak mengalami peningkatan berat badan sebanyak 19 responden (36,5 %). Pengguna dengan umur 30 tahun paling banyak mengalami ammenorhea sebanyak 17 responden (36,7 %). Paritas primipara paling banyak mengalami peningkatan berat badan sebanyak 19 responden (36,5 %). Paritas multipara paling banyak mengalami ammenorhea sebanyak 20 responden (38,5 %).responden dengan lama pemakian ≤ 1 tahun paling banyak mengalami spotting yaitu sebanyak 17 responden (32,7 %),pengguna dengan lama pemakian ≥ 1 tahun, paling banyak mengalami ammenorhea yaitu sebanyak 22 responden (42,3 %) dan peningkatan berat badan sebanyak 20 responden (28,5 %).
