Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN ELDERLY PEOPLE WITH HYPERTENSION IN MAMBAL KELODAN VILLAGE, ABIANSEMAL SUB-DISTRICT, BADUNG DISTRICT ABSTRACT Uric Acid is one of the non-communicable diseases, the elderly are one of the ages that are very at risk of developing gout starting from declining organ function. Hypertension will end up in myrovascular disease with the end result of ischemia which can trigger gout. This study aims to determine the description of uric acid levels in hypertensive patients in Mambal Kelodan Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. This type of research is descriptive with Point Of Care Testing uric acid measuring instruments. Using purposive sampling technique as many as 36 samples. The results showed high uric acid levels in elderly people with hypertension of 44.4%. The most age group was found in 55-64 years (55.6%), the most female gender (69.4%), and 5.6% of the elderly did not often consume alcohol. The conclusion that uric acid levels in elderly people with hypertension in Mambal Kelodan Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency have a high risk of hyperuricemia. Keywords: Uric acid, Hypertension, Elderly GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA LANSIA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI DESA MAMBAL KELODAN KECAMATAN ABIANSEMAL KABUPATEN BADUNG ABSTRAK Asam Urat merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular, lansia menjadi salah satu usia yang sangat berisiko terkena asam urat mulai dari fungsi organ yang semakin menurun. Hipertensi akan berakhir dalam penyakit mirovaskuler dengan hasil akhir iskemi yang dapat memicu asam urat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar asam urat pada penderita hipertensi di Desa Mambal Kelodan Kecamatana Abiansemal kabupaten Badung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif dengan alat ukur asam urat Point Of Care Testing. Menggunakan teknik Non-Probability secara Purposive sampling sebanyak 36 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar asam urat tinggi pada lansia penderita hipertensi sebesar 44,4%. Kelompok usia paling banyak ditemukan pada 55-64 tahun sebesar (55,6%), jenis kelamin paling banyak perempuan (69,4%), dan banyak lansia penderita hipertensi yang tidak mengonsumsi alkohol. Kesimpulan bahwa kadar asam urat pada lansia penderita hipertensi di Desa Mambal Kelodan Kecamatan Abiansemal Kabupaten Badung memiliki risiko besar terhadap hiperurisemia.
