Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COMBINATION OF AROMATHERAPY AND HYDROTHERAPY IN REDUCING BLOOD PRESSURE IN PRIMARY HYPERTENSION PATIENTS AT PUSK ESMAS IV DENPASAR SELATAN IN 2022 ABSTRACT Hypertension is degenerative disease where the blood pressure is at above normal where systolic blood pressure 140 mmHg and/ or pressure blood diastolic are 90 mm Hg after inspection repeatedly and often known the moment complications already occur. Efforts that can done as treatment is with aromatherapy and hydrotherapy warm water foot bath . Objective Study this is to know effectiveness combination aromatherapy and hydrotherapy in lower pressure patient 's blood hypertension . Type study this is Quasy Experimental Design with the design used pre-post design with group control with simple random sampling. The sample used in study is 40 respondents with primary hypertension that routinely control to Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan. With the results of the difference in the average decrease in systolic blood pressure in the combination group, which was higher than the group only taking medication by 6.8 mmHg, higher than the aromatherapy group by 3.0 mmHg and higher than the hydrotherapy group by 4.0 mmHg. Meanwhile, the average decrease in diastolic blood pressure in the combination group was higher than the drug-only group, namely 3.8mmHg, higher than the aromatherapy group by 1.9 and the hydrotherapy group by 3.0mmHg. The results of the test using the One Way ANOVA test can be seen. The significance value is 0.00 < 0.05, which means that the combination of aromatherapy and hydrotherapy is more effective than single treatment therapy in reducing blood pressure in patients with hypertension at Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan in 2022.. Based on this research, it is recommended that the combination of aromatherapy and hydrotherapy used as non-pharmacologic therapy to reduce blood pressure Keywords : Combination of Aromatherapy and Hydrotherapy , Hypertension, Blood Pressure EFEKTIVITAS KOMBINASI AROMATERAPI DAN HIDROTERAPI DALAM MENURUNKAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI PRIMER DI PUSKESMAS IV DENPASAR SELATAN TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Hipertensi adalah penyakit degenerative dimana tekanan darah berada diatas normal dimana teakanan darah sistolik ≥ 140 mm Hg dan / atau tekanan darah diastolik mereka ≥90 mm Hg setelah pemeriksaan berulang dan seringkali diketahui saat sudah terjadi komplikasi. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan sebagai pengobatan adalah dengan aromaterapi mawar dan hidroterapi rendaman kaki air hangat. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas kombinasi aromaterapi dan hidroterapi dalam menurunkan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi. Jenis penelitian ini adalha Quasy Experimental Design dengan rancangan yang digunakan pre-post design with group control dengan simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 responden penderita hipertensi primer yang rutin berobat ke Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan. Dengan hasil selisih rata-rata penurunan tekanan darah sistole pada kelompok kombinasi lebih tinggi daripada kelompok hanya minum obat sebesar 6,8 mmHg, lebih tinggi daripada kelompok aromaterapi sebesar 3,0 mmHg serta lebih tinggi dari kelompok hidroterapi sebesar 4,0 mmHg. Sedangkan rata rata penurunan pada tekanan darah diastole pada kelompok kombinasi lebih tinggi daripada kelompok hanya minum obat yaitu sebesar 3,8mmHg, lebih tinggi daripada kelompok aromaterapi sebesar 1,9 Serta kelompok hidroterapi sebesar 3,0mmHg .Hasil pengujian menggunakan uji One Way ANOVA dapat diketahui nilai signifikansi bernilai 0,00< 0,05 yang artinya kombinasi aromaterapi dan hidroterapi lebih efektif daripada terapi perlakuan single dalam menurunkan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan Tahun 2022. Berdasarkan penelitian ini maka diasarankan agar kombinasi aromaterapi dan hidroterapi dapat dijadikan terapi non-farmalokogi untuk menurunkan tekanan darah Kata Kunci: Kombinasi Aromaterapi dan Hidroterapi, Hipertensi, Tekanan Darah
