Abstract

Pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia saat ini dihadapkan pada dua masalah ganda, disamping penyakit menular dan kurang gizi, terjadi pula peningkatan kasus penyakit tidak menular dalam hal ini penyakit diabetes mellitus.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan dengan kadar HbA1C pasien diabetes mellitus di ruang rawat inap kelas III Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Tabanan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien diabetes mellitus yang dirawat di kelas III Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Tabanan yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Kriteria inklusinya yaitu berumur diatas 20 tahun, ditegakan diagnosa diabetes mellitus, dilakukan pemeriksaan HbA1C, menandatangani inform consent, sedangkan kriteria eksklusinya yaitu pasien diabetes mellitus dalam keadaan penurunan kesadaran saat penelitian, pasien diabetes mellitus mengalami hilang ingatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara menggunakan kuisioner SQ-FFQ. Data yang diambil meliputi umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan, kadar HbA1C dan pola makan. Untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan dengan kadar HbA1C pasien diabetes mellitus di ruang rawat inap kelas III Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Tabanan digunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman dengan p (value) 0,000. Hasil analisis ini menunjukan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara pola makan dengan kadar HbA1C pasien diabetes mellitus di ruang rawat inap kelas III Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Tabanan. This type of research is observational with a cross sectional design. The sample in this study were patients with diabetes mellitus who were treated in class III of the Tabanan Regency General Hospital who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria were over 20 years old, diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, HbA1C examination was performed, signed the informed consent, while the exclusion criteria were patients with diabetes mellitus in a state of decreased consciousness during the study, patients with diabetes mellitus experienced memory loss. Data was collected by interview method using the SQ-FFQ questionnaire. The data taken include age, gender, education, occupation, HbA1C levels and diet. To determine the relationship between diet and HbA1C levels in patients with diabetes mellitus in class III inpatient rooms at the Tabanan District General Hospital, the Spearman Rank correlation test was used with p (value) 0.000. The results of this analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between diet and HbA1C levels in patients with diabetes mellitus in class III inpatient rooms at the Tabanan Regency General Hospital.
