Abstract
Food wasted showed that food is not optimal, so the wasteds awas indicator that can be used to evaluate the success of hospital nutrition services. The purpose of this study was to Analyze the correlation between of flavor and soft food wasted patients in Tk.II Udayana Hospital Denpasar City. This research is anobservational study with cross- sectional design. The research site was conducted at the hospital. Tk.II Udayana Denpasar. The data collection method was done by measuring taste and food waste using questionnaires against 47 samples. Based onthe results of this study, it is known that patient food waste is obtained by using a method ( food weighing) or weighing food that is then processed and obtained theresults of 47 samples studied that the rest of the patient's food is classified as many as 18 people (38.3%), The rest of the usual food patients in the hospital. Tk II Udayana at 18.4% The results of the study showed that from 47 samples that food waste is classified as little obtained 29 people (61.7%). The sample that stated the taste of good food was 42 people (89.4%) and stated the taste of food is not good ie 5 people (10.6%). After the Chi Square test, the value of p = 0.357 means that there is no significant relationship between the taste of food and food waste. Researchers recommend that hospital nutrition installations conduct regular evaluation of food waste and vary the food menu. Keywords: Flavor, Food wasted
