Abstract

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a progressive enlargement of the prostate gland that causes urinary tract obstruction and restrictions on urine flow. The majority of BPH are suffered by men over the age of 50 years. Nursing problems that arise in the subject of preoperative benign prostatic hyperplasia is urinary retention. This study aims to determine the description of nursing care in patients with preoperative surgery prostatic hyperplasia benign with urine retention. This research uses descriptive research type and using data collection techniques is the study of documentation. The number of subjects used is 2 documents. The results of this study indicate the assessment of the two subject documents found the same. After comparison, there is a difference between theory and subjective and objective data assessment results in subject documents. The nursing diagnosis formulated that urinary retention is related to the spingter block is proven by the patient experiencing pain during urination (dysuria). Nursing planning refers to Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) and Nursing Outcome Classifications (NOC). The implementation in both subjects was carried out in accordance with the planned interventions. The evaluation results used are the SOAP documentation method. The results showed differences with the theories that have been conveyed both from the assessment to the evaluation of nursing. . Benigna prostat hiperplasia (BPH) merupakan pembesaran progresif kelenjar prostat yang menyebabkan penyumbatan saluran kemih dan pembatasan aliran urin. BPH ini mayoritas diderita oleh laki-laki berusia di atas 50 tahun. Masalah keperawatan yang muncul pada subjek pre operasi benigna prostat hiperplasia ini adalah retensi urine. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada pasien pre operasi benigna prostat hyperplasia dengan retensi urine. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data adalah studi dokumentasi. Jumlah subjek yang digunakan yaitu 2 dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengkajian pada kedua dokumen subjek yang ditemukan sama. Setelah dibandingkan terdapat perbedaan antara teori dengan hasil pengkajian data subjektif dan objektif pada dokumen subjek. Diagnosa keperawatan yang dirumuskan yaitu retensi urine berhubungan blok spingter dibuktikan dengan pasien mengalami nyeri saat berkemih (disuria). Perencanaan keperawatan mengacu pada Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) dan Nursing Outcome Classifications (NOC). Implementasi yang dilakukan pada kedua subjek telah dilakukan sesuai dengan intervensi yang telah direncanakan. Hasil evaluasi yang digunakan yaitu metode pendokumentasi SOAP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dengan teori yang telah disampaikan baik dari pengkajian sampai dengan evaluasi keperawatan.
