Abstract
Abstract Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a set of tools used by manpower to protect all or part of his body against possible potential occupational accident hazards in the work area. The purpose of this research is to know the factors related to the use of personal protective equipment on wood craftsmen in the community Puskesmas in Bangli 2020. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive using cross-sectionalstudy design. This study uses 30 samples with saturated sampling techniques. Analysis using Univariat and bivariate analysis with Non parametric Chi Square test. The results showed that the relationship of knowledge factor (P =0.007), attitude (p =0.002), and the convenience of using PPE (P = 0,000) in wood craftsmen have a meaningful relationship to the use of PPE. The advice of researchers is that companies need to increase the knowledge of workers through training or counseling, to motivate by sitting together and brainstorm with the workers, and to evaluate periodically by conducting inspections to each unit of work.
