Abstract

Effect of Android Game Based Education on the Conqueror's Land Tsunamis and Earthquakes Against Student Preparedness Dealing with Disasters ABSTRACT Disasters are events that threaten and have an impact on all ages including children. To overcome this, preparedness efforts are needed for all children. One of these efforts was given education to elementary school children based on Android games, the land of the conqueror of the tsunami and earthquake. This type of research is Pre-Exsperimental Design with the design of One Pretest-Posttest Group with a simple random sampling technique. The population in this study was 137 people. In this study the population was 137 people and a sample of 52 people. The results of this study show that the majority of respondents were 10 years old (53.8%), the majority were male (55.8%), before being given Android game-based education in the most moderate categories, namely 40 respondents (80.0%) and after being given Android game-based education on the highest category, 46 respondents (88.5%). This study uses Wilcoxon statistical test, with the results of p = 0,000 <0,05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of providing Android game-based education to the conqueror of the tsunami and earthquake to the preparedness of students to face disasters can improve student preparedness. Advice for Ketewel state elementary school teachers to emphasize the importance of the education sector disaster preparedness. Keywords: Disaster, Preparedness, Android Games Pengaruh Edukasi Berbasis Game Android Tanah Sang Penakluk Tsunami Dan Gempa Bumi Terhadap Kesiapsiagaan Siswa Menghadapi Bencana ABSTRAK Bencana adalah pristiwa yang mengancam dan menimbulkan dampak pada semua usia termasuk anak-anak. Untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut diperlukan upaya kesiapsiagaan pada kalngan anak-anak. Upaya tersebut salah satunya ini diberikan edukasi kepada anak sekolah dasar berbasis game android tanah sang penakluk tsunami dan gempa bumi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Exsperimental Design dengan rancangan One Grup Pretest-Posttest dengan teknik simple random sampling. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 137 orang. Pada penelitian ini jumlah populasi sebanayk 137 orang dan sampel 52 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan sebagain besar responden berusia 10 tahun (53,8%), terbanyak berjenis kelamin laki-laki (55,8%), sebelum diberikan edukasi berbasis game android pada katagori sedang terbanyak yaitu 40 responden (80,0%) dan setelah diberikan edukasi berbasis game android pada katagori tinggi terbanyak yaitu 46 responden (88,5%). Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik wilcoxon, dengan hasil p = 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian edukasi berbasis game android tanah sang penakluk tsunami dan gempa bumi terhadap kesiapsiagaan siswa menghadapi bencana dapat meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan siswa. Saran untuk guru SDN 3 Ketewel untuk menekankan pentingnya kesiapsiagaan bencana sektor pendidikan. Kata Kunci : Bencana, Kesiapsiagaan, Game Android
