Abstract

ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN NYERI AKUT DENGAN ELEVASI DAN TERAPI RELAKSASI BENSON PADA PASIEN CLOSED FRACTURE RADIUS SINISTRA POST ORIF PLATE AND SCREW HARI KE-0 DI RUANG CEMPAKA RSUD BALI MANDARA TAHUN 2025 ABSTRAK Pasien yang mengalami fraktur dan menjalani tindakan Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) sering mengalami nyeri akut akibat kerusakan jariangan dan respos inflamasi setelah pembedahan. Nyeri yang tidak teratasi dapat mengganggu kenyamanan, mobilisasi, dan proses pemulihan pasien. Karya Ilmiah Akhir Ners ini bertujuan menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan nyeri akut melalui pemberian elevasi ekstremitas dan terapi relaksasi Benson pada pasien closed fracture radius sinistra pasca ORIF plate and screw di Ruang Cempaka RSUD Bali Mandara Tahun 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosis, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, dan dokumentasi rekam medis. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan pasien mengeluh nyeri pada tangan kiri dengan skala nyeri Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) 6 (0–10), tampak meringis, bersikap protektif, gelisah, sulit tidur, nadi meningkat dan mengalami diaforesis. Diagnosis keperawatan yang ditegakkan adalah nyeri akut berhubungan dengan agen pencedera fisik ditandai dengan pasien mengeluh nyeri skala NRS 6 (0–10), tampak meringis, bersikap protektif, gelisah, sulit tidur, nadi meningkat dan diaforesis. Intervensi keperawatan dilakukan selama 3 × 24 jam berupa pemberian elevasi ekstremitas dan terapi relaksasi Benson. Evaluasi menunjukkan penurunan intensitas nyeri menjadi skala NRS 2 (0–10), pasien tampak lebih rileks, nyaman, nadi menurun serta berkurangnya perilaku protektif. Kombinasi pemberian elevasi ekstremitas dan terapi relaksasi Benson efektif membantu menurunkan nyeri akut pada pasien post ORIF closed fracture radius sinistra. Kata kunci : Fraktur, ORIF, Nyeri Akut, Elevasi, Relaksasi Benson Nursing Care Of Acute Pain With Elevation And Benson Relaxation Therapy In Patients With Closed Fracture Of The Left Radius Post Orif Plate And Screw In The Cempaka Ward Of Bali Mandara Regional Hospital In 2025 ABSTRACT Patients with fractures who undergo Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) commonly experience acute pain due to tissue injury and the inflammatory response following surgery. Unrelieved pain may interfere with patient comfort, mobility, and the recovery process. This Final Nursing Scientific Paper aimed to describe nursing care for acute pain through the implementation of extremity elevation and Benson relaxation therapy in a patient with a closed fracture of the left radius following ORIF with plate and screw fixation in the Cempaka Ward of Bali Mandara Regional General Hospital in 2025. The method used was a case study with a nursing process approach, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, observation, physical examination, and medical record documentation. Assessment findings revealed that the patient complained of pain in the left hand with a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) score of 6 (0–10), accompanied by grimacing, protective behavior, restlessness, sleep disturbances, increased pulse rate, and diaphoresis. The nursing diagnosis established was acute pain related to physical injury agents, as evidenced by the patient's complaint of pain with an NRS score of 6 (0–10), grimacing, protective behavior, restlessness, sleep disturbances, increased pulse rate, and diaphoresis. Nursing interventions were implemented for 3 × 24 hours, consisting of extremity elevation and Benson relaxation therapy. Evaluation results showed a reduction in pain intensity to an NRS score of 2 (0–10), with the patient appearing more relaxed and comfortable, a decreased pulse rate, and reduced protective behavior. The combination of extremity elevation and Benson relaxation therapy was effective in reducing acute pain in a patient with a closed fracture of the left radius following ORIF with plate and screw fixation.
