Abstract

HUBUNGAN FREKUENSI KEMOTERAPI DENGAN PLATELET TO LYMPHOCYTE RATIO (PLR) PADA PASIEN KANKER PAYUDARA DI RSUD BALI MANDARA ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu jenis kanker yang paling sering terjadi pada perempuan dan terapi yang umum diberikan adalah kemoterapi. Pemberian kemoterapi berulang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi hematologi pasien, termasuk jumlah trombosit dan limfosit yang digunakan dalam perhitungan Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) sebagai indikator inflamasi sistemik. Perubahan nilai PLR selama kemoterapi diduga berkaitan dengan frekuensi kemoterapi yang dijalani pasien. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara frekuensi kemoterapi dengan Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Bali Mandara. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 pasien kanker payudara yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Bali Mandara. Data diperoleh dari hasil pemeriksaan trombosit dan limfosit, kemudian dihitung nilai PLR dan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk serta uji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji Spearman Rank diperoleh nilai korelasi dengan arah negatif dan nilai signifikansi > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara frekuensi kemoterapi dengan Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Bali Mandara. Kata kunci: PLR, Kemoterapi, Kanker Payudara THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHEMOTHERAPY FREQUENCY AND PLATELET TO LYMPHOCYTE RATIO (PLR) IN BREAST CANCER PATIENTS AT RSUD BALI MANDARA ABSTRACT Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women, and chemotherapy is a widely used treatment. Repeated chemotherapy administration can affect patients' hematological conditions, including platelet and lymphocyte counts which are used to calculate the Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) as a systemic inflammatory indicator. Changes in PLR values during chemotherapy are suspected to be associated with the frequency of chemotherapy received by patients. Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship between chemotherapy frequency and Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) in breast cancer patients at RSUD Bali Mandara. Methods: This study used an analytic descriptive method with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling method, involving 30 breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at RSUD Bali Mandara. Data were obtained from platelet and lymphocyte examination results, then PLR values were calculated and analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and Spearman correlation test. Results: Based on the Spearman Rank correlation test, a negative correlation direction with a significance value > 0.05 was obtained, indicating that there was no relationship between chemotherapy frequency and Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) in breast cancer patients at RSUD Bali Mandara.
