Abstract

ABSTRACT Quality midwifery care brings pleasant experiences during pregnancy until the postpartum period. This continuing care aims to determine the results of care given to Mrs.PK from 18 weeks of pregnancy until the postpartum period, and newborns are according to standards. This case study uses primary and secondary data through interviews, examinations, observations, and documentation from September 2024 to Maret 2025. Mrs. PK's pregnancy was running physiologically. The mothers go through normal delivery without complications. Stage I lasted 6.5 hours, stage II 16 minutes, stage III 5 minutes, and monitoring stage IV was within normal limits. The baby was born at 11.46 WITA, cry immediately and moved actively, and had a birth weight of 3100 grams. During the puerperium, the uterine involution, lochea discharge, and psychology are within normal limits. The mother experienced mastitis at the end of the puerperium without interfering with the lactation process. Midwifery care given to infants is following essential neonatal services. Complementary care is given according to the needs of the mother and baby. The conclusion was that midwifery care for Mrs.PK from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and infant takes place physiologically. Midwifery care is given under the authority, policies, and applicable standards. Keywords: pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and neonates
