Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR MRS. S WITH FATIGUE DUE TO CERVICAL CANCER IN KUTA I COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER ABSTRACT Cervical cancer, caused by infection with the Human Papilloma Virus, is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. In Indonesia, the incidence of cervical cancer is relatively high, including in Bali. This study aims to examine the fatigue experienced by a woman with stage 1B cervical cancer. In the assessment process, fatigue was identified as the primary nursing diagnosis. The planned interventions included energy and nutrition management, with a focus on reducing the patient's fatigue level. During the five-day implementation, the intervention included routine observation, physical therapy, education on the importance of nutrition, and introduction of yoga exercises to improve well-being. In addition, collaboration with a nutritionist was carried out to ensure that the patient received optimal nutritional support. Evaluation using the SOAP method showed significant improvements, with patients reporting increased enthusiasm and decreased fatigue levels. These results indicate that the intervention implemented was effective in improving the patient's quality of life. The implementation of this intervention was then continued independently by the patient, providing hope for better fatigue management in the future. S DENGAN KELETIHAN AKIBAT KANKER SERVIKS DI PUSKESMAS KUTA I ABSTRAK Kanker serviks, yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus Human Papilloma Virus, merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian di seluruh dunia. Di Indonesia, insiden kanker serviks tergolong tinggi, termasuk di daerah Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keletihan yang dialami seorang wanita dengan kanker serviks stadium 1B. Dalam proses pengkajian, keletihan diidentifikasi sebagai diagnosis keperawatan utama. Intervensi yang direncanakan meliputi manajemen energi dan nutrisi, dengan fokus pada penurunan tingkat keletihan pasien. Selama lima hari implementasi, intervensi mencakup observasi rutin, terapi fisik, edukasi mengenai pentingnya nutrisi, serta pengenalan latihan yoga untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan ahli gizi dilakukan untuk memastikan pasien mendapatkan dukungan nutrisi yang optimal. Evaluasi menggunakan metode SOAP menunjukkan perbaikan yang signifikan, dengan pasien melaporkan peningkatan semangat dan penurunan tingkat keletihan. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa intervensi yang diterapkan efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Implementasi intervensi ini kemudian dilanjutkan secara mandiri oleh pasien, memberikan harapan untuk pengelolaan keletihan yang lebih baik di masa depan.
