Abstract
PICTURE OF SCHOOL CAFETERIA SANITATION HYGIENE AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 NEGARA IN 2025 ABSTRACT This study understands the description of hygiene and sanitation of school canteens at Senior High School Negeri 2 Negara in 2025. School canteens are important places to get food. Canteen hygiene and sanitation are important to prevent disease. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the hygiene and sanitation of school canteens at Senior High School Negeri 2 Negara. This study uses a descriptive method with direct observation, the population and sample of the study were three canteens. Data collected through the environmental health inspection form were analyzed to evaluate the hygiene and sanitation conditions in the canteen. The results of the study showed that the hygiene and sanitation conditions of school canteens were categorized as meeting the requirements because environmental health inspection scored above 80. If environmental health inspection scored below 80, the canteen could be declared unqualified. The hygiene and sanitation conditions in the three school canteens at Senior High School Negeri 2 Negara were quite good, this study is expected to provide useful information for schools and canteen managers to improve hygiene and sanitation practices. Keywords: Hygiene, Sanitation, Canteen GAMBARAN HYGIENE SANITASI KANTIN SEKOLAH DI SMA NEGERI 2 NEGARA TAHUN 2025 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini memahami gambaran hygiene dan sanitasi kantin sekolah di SMA Negeri 2 Negara tahun 2025. Kantin sekolah adalah tempat penting untuk mendapatkan makanan. Hygiene sanitasi kantin penting untuk mencegah penyakit. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hygiene sanitasi kantin sekolah di SMA Negeri 2 Negara Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan observasi langsung, populasi dan sampel penelitian itu adalah tiga kantin. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui formulir IKL dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi kondisi hygiene sanitasi pada kantin. Hasil penelitian kondisi hygiene sanitasi kantin sekolah dikategorikan memenuhi syarat karena IKL mendapat nilai diatas 80. Jika IKL mendapatkan nilai dibawah 80 kantin tersebut dapat di nyatakan tidak memenuhi syarat. Keadaan hygiene sanitasi pada ketiga kantin sekolah di SMA Negeri 2 Negara sudah cukup baik , penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang berguna bagi pihak sekolah dan pengelola kantin untuk meningkatkan praktik hygiene dan sanitasi.
