Abstract

Nursing Care For Mrs. M With Effective Breastfeeding Due To Postpartum In The Work Area Of Puskesmas IV South Denpasar ABSTRACT The postpartum period is an important period in a woman's life after childbirth, during which the mother's body undergoes a recovery and adaptation process, both physiologically, emotionally, and socially. Exclusive breastfeeding of the newborn during the first six months is crucial for optimal growth and development of the baby. Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) immediately after birth is highly recommended because it provides the best nutrition through colostrum, protects the baby from infection, and strengthens the bond between mother and baby. This case study aims to explore nursing care for postpartum mothers with a focus on achieving effective breastfeeding in the working area of Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan. This research uses a descriptive method with a case study design. The research subjects are postpartum mothers who meet the established inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection is carried out through comprehensive assessment, formulation of nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. Nursing interventions provided include exclusive breastfeeding promotion and infant nutrition education. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of effective nursing interventions in supporting postpartum mothers to achieve successful breastfeeding, increase public awareness about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, and provide a scientific basis for the development of maternal nursing science. M DENGAN MENYUSUI EFEKTIF DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS IV DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRAK Masa nifas merupakan periode penting dalam kehidupan seorang wanita setelah melahirkan, dimana tubuh ibu mengalami proses pemulihan dan adaptasi, baik secara fisiologis, emosional, maupun sosial. Pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi baru lahir selama enam bulan pertama sangat krusial untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi yang optimal. Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) segera setelah kelahiran sangat dianjurkan karena memberikan nutrisi terbaik melalui kolostrum, melindungi bayi dari infeksi, serta mempererat ikatan ibu dan bayi. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi asuhan keperawatan pada ibu postpartum dengan fokus pada pencapaian menyusui efektif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah ibu postpartum yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengkajian komprehensif, perumusan diagnosis keperawatan, perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi intervensi keperawatan. Intervensi keperawatan yang diberikan meliputi promosi ASI eksklusif dan edukasi nutrisi bayi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan intervensi keperawatan yang efektif dalam mendukung ibu postpartum untuk mencapai keberhasilan menyusui, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya ASI eksklusif, serta memberikan landasan ilmiah bagi pengembangan ilmu keperawatan maternitas.
