Abstract

NURSING CARE FOR Mrs. S WITH BODY IMAGE DISTURBANCE DUE TO CA MAMMAE POST MASTECTOMY AT SANJIWANI GIANYAR HOSPITAL IN 2025 ABSTRACT Breast cancer is a disease that is prevalent in Indonesia, especially in women. After a mastectomy, breast cancer patients will experience changes in body structure, so this is the cause of most patients experiencing body image disturbances. This case report aims to determine nursing care for Mrs. S with body image disturbances due to post-mastectomy breast cancer at Sanjiwani Hospital in 2025. This type of research is a case report using a descriptive method carried out through the stages of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The sample of this case report is a patient who has met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the assessment found that the patient experienced body image disturbances due to loss of breast structure after a mastectomy. The interventions given were in the form of body image promotion and coping promotion. After the intervention was carried out for 5 meetings for 30 minutes, the intervention was proven effective in improving the patient's body image. Keywords: Nursing Care, Body Image Disturbance, Post-Mastectomy Breast Cancer ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA NY.S DENGAN GANGGUAN CITRA TUBUH AKIBAT CA MAMMAE POST MASTEKTOMI DI RSUD SANJIWANI GIANYAR TAHUN 2025 ABSTRAK Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit yang marak terjadi di indonesia khusnya pada perempuan. Setelah dilakukan tindakan mastektomi, pada pasien kanker payudara akan mengalami perubahan struktur tubuh sehingga ini menjadi penyebab sebagian besar pasien akan mengalami gangguan citra tubuh. Laporan kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asuhan keperawatan pada Ny.S dengan gangguan citra tubuh akibat ca mammae post mastektomi di RSUD Sanjiwani tahun 2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah laporan kasus menggunakan metode deskriptif yang dilakukan melalui tahap pengkajian, diagnosis keperawatan, perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sampel dari laporan kasus ini adalah pasien yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Hasil pengkajian ditemukan pasien mengalami gangguan citra tubuh dikarenakan kehilangan struktur payudara setelah tindakan mastektomi. Intervensi yang diberikan berupa promosi citra tubuh dan promosi koping. Setelah dilakukan intervensi selama 5 kali pertemuan selama 30 menit intervensi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan citra tubuh pasien.
