Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN WORKSHOP WORKERS IN BLAHBATUH DISTRICT, GIANYAR DISTRICT ABSTRACT Workshop workers have the potential to experience the risk of increased hemoglobin levels due to disruption of oxygen affinity in the body due to exposure to monoxide gas from vehicle exhaust in the workshop. This study aims to determine the description of hemoglobin levels in workshop workers in Blahbatuh District. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in this study were workshop workers in Blahbatuh District. The sample size was 32 respondents with a total sampling technique based on adjustments to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Examination of hemoglobin levels was carried out using a Hematology analyzer. The results of the examination showed that there were normal hemoglobin levels in 27 samples (84.4%) and high hemoglobin levels in 5 samples (15.6%). High hemoglobin levels were found in samples from the early and late adult age groups, in the old category. working for more than 5 years, smoking habit of 11-20 cigarettes per day, and in the category of not using a mask. It can be concluded that the hemoglobin level in workshop workers is 84.4% within the normal. Keywords : Hemoglobin, Carbon Monoxide (CO), COHb, Mechanic GAMBARAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA PEKERJA BENGKEL DI KECAMATAN BLAHBATUH, KABUPATEN GIANYAR ABSTRAK Pekerja bengkel memiliki potensi mengalami resiko kenaikan kadar hemoglobin akibat terganggunya fungsi oksigen dalam tubuh disebabkan adanya paparan gas monoksida oleh asap kendaraan di bengkel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar hemoglobin pada pekerja bengkel di Kecamatan Blahbatuh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pekerja bengkel di Kecamatan Blahbatuh. Besar sampel adalah 32 responden dengan Teknik total sampling berdasarkan penyesuaian terhadap kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin dilakukan menggunakan Hematology analyzer. Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukan bahwa terdapat kadar hemoglobin normal pada 27 sampel (84,4%) dan kadar hemoglobin tinggi pada 5 sampel (15,6%) . Kadar hemoglobin tinggi ditemukan pada sampel dengan kelompok usia dewasa awal dan akhir, pada kategori lama bekerja lebih dari 5 tahun, kebiasaan merokok 11-20 batang perhari, dan pada kategori tidak menggunakan masker. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kadar hemoglobin pada pekerja bengkel 84,4% berada dalam rentang normal. Kata Kunci : Hemoglobin, Karbon Monoksida (CO), COHb, Pekerja bengkel
