Abstract

RELATIONSHIP OF HOUSE OCCUPATIONAL BEHAVIOR AND DENSITY WITH THE EVENT OF PULMONARY TB IN THE WORKING AREA OF THE STATE PUSKESMAS II IN 2022 ABSTRACT Pulmonary TB is an infectious disease caused by infection with the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacillus. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between healthy behavior and housing density with the incidence of pulmonary TB in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas II Negara. This research uses an observational analytic study with a case control study design. The number of samples taken was 34 case samples and added with 34 control samples with a total sample of 68 people. Statistical testing used the chi square test. The results of the study 37 (54.4%) of respondents behaved less and 31 (45.6%) behaved well. The housing density of the solid category is 31 (45.6%) respondents and 37 (54.4%) is not dense. Furthermore, the results of the chi square test for the healthy behavior variable with the incidence of pulmonary TB obtained p value = 0.002 < 0.05, OR = 5.09 while the test results for the variable occupancy density with the incidence of pulmonary TB obtained p value = 0.002 <0.05, OR = 5 ,09. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between healthy behavior and the incidence of pulmonary TB and there is a relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of pulmonary TB. Suggestions for healthy behavior need to be increased and the density of housing needs to be reduced to prevent the incidence of pulmonary TB in the working area of UPTD Public Health Center II Negara. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku sehat dan kepadatan hunian rumah dengan kejadian TB Paru di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas II Negara. Penelitian menggunakan studi analitik observasional dengan desain studi kasus kontrol (case control study). Jumlah sampel yang di ambil 34 sampel kasus dan ditambah dengan 34 sampel kontrol dengan jumlah total sampel 68 orang.Pengujian statistik menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian 37 (54,4%) responden berperilaku kurang dan 31 (45,6%) berperilaku baik. Kepadatan hunian rumah kategori padat 31 (45,6%) responden dan 37 (54,4%) tidak padat. Selanjutnya hasil uji chi square variabel perilaku sehat dengan kejadian TB paru diperoleh nilai p=0.002 < 0,05 nilai OR= 5,09 sedangkan hasil uji variabel kepadatan hunian dengan kejadian TB paru diperoleh nilai p= 0.002<0,05 nilai OR= 5,09. Simpulan ada hubungan perilaku sehat dengan kejadian TB paru dan ada hubungan kepadatan hunian dengan kejadian TB paru. Saran perilaku sehat perlu ditingkatkan dan kepadatan hunian perlu dikurangi untuk mencegah kejadian TB paru di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas II Negara.
