Abstract
Based on data from the 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) of Bali Province, reported that nutritional status based on the Body Mass Index by Age in Denpasar City the prevalence of children with more nutrition is 15.85% and obese children are 15.12%. 39.4% of children in Indonesia do not exercise regularly. Children who do not exercise regularly are at risk of becoming obese 1.4 times higher than children who exercise regularly. This study aims to analyze the differences in nutritional status based on the physical activity of the 5 Sanur State Elementary School students participating in this study. This study used an observational research type with a cross sectional design. A total of 93 students from State Elementary School 5 Sanur participated in this study. Data were collected by measuring height, weight and filling out a physical activity questionnaire. This study gives the result that there are differences in nutritional status based on physical activity with p-value = 0.001 (<0.05).
