Abstract

Hospital service users demand quality services not only regarding healing from physical illness orimproving their health status, but also regarding satisfaction with attitudes, always the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure and a physical environment that can provide comfort for health service users so that hospitals must always maintain and improve the quality of itsservices, including the quality of midwifery services. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the quality of midwifery services and the level of satisfaction of postpartum mothers in the postpartum room at Puri Bunda Hospital for Mothers and Children, Denpasar. The research method uses correlation analytic research with cross sectional approach. Sampling by consecutive sampling with a sample size of 32 people. Analysis of the data using chi square with the results 81.6% of respondents assess the quality of services provided, 78.9% assess satisfaction with the services received. This research concludes that there is a relationship between the quality of midwifery services and the level of satisfaction of postpartum mothers in the postpartum room at Puri Bunda Denpasar Mother and Child Hospital with a p value of 0.01 (<0,05). To RSIA Puri Bunda Denpasar expects to maintainthe quality of service so that all patients can feel satisfaction with the midwifery services they receive.
