Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF TOTAL CHOLESTEROL LEVELS IN ACTIVE SMOKERS IN BANJAR BERAWANTANGI TAMAN TUKADAYA VILLAGE MELAYA DISTRICT JEMBRANA REGENCY ABSTRACT Background: Cigarette results production processed wrapped tobacco. One impact of smoke is the increased rate of total cholesterol in the blood. Purpose: study this is for knowing and describing the rate of total cholesterol in blood on smoker active. Method: used on study this is study descriptive done April – May 2022 in Banjar Overcast Park, Village Tukadaya, District Melaya, District Jembrana with a big sample of as many as 39 men smokers active earned with purposive sampling technique. Inspection rate total cholesterol done with use POCT (Point Of Care Testing) method with use blood capillaries. Results: study shows that smokers active with a rate of total cholesterol were normal for as many as 23 respondents (59.0 %), the threshold limit of as many as 10 respondents (25.6%), and tall as many as 6 respondents (15.4%). High total cholesterol levels there is on smoker active with range age group(45-49) years old with percentage (7.7 %) on the smoking duration for >10 years as much (12.8%) in category smoker active currently as much as (10.3%) as well as activity physique on category mild (10.3%). Conclusion: study this is part big smoker active have rate normal total cholesterol, levels of total cholesterol is not normal more many suffered on range age group (45-49) years old and long smoking for >10 years with category smoker currently as well as activity physique category light. Keywords: Smoker active, total cholesterol, POCT GAMBARAN KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL PADA PEROKOK AKTIF DI BANJAR BERAWANTANGI TAMAN DESA TUKADAYA KECAMATAN MELAYA KABUPATEN JEMBRANA ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Rokok merupakan hasil produksi olahan tembakau yang terbungkus. Salah satu dampak yang diberikan oleh merokok adalah meningkatnya kadar kolesterol total di dalam darah. Tujuan penelitian: ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kadar koelsterol total dalam darah pada perokok aktif. Metode penelitian: yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan bulan April – Mei 2022 di Banjar Berawantangi Taman, Desa Tukadaya, Kecamatan Melaya, Kabupaten Jembrana dengan besar sampel sebanyak 39 orang laki- laki perokok aktif yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol total dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode POCT (Point Of Care Testing) dengan menggunakan darah kapiler. Hasil penelitian: menunjukkan bahwa perokok aktif dengan kadar kolesterol total normal sebanyak 23 responden (59,0%), ambang batas sebanyak 10 responden (25,6%), dan tinggi sebanyak 6 responden (15,4%). Kadar kolesterol total yang tinggi terdapat pada perokok aktif dengan kelompok usia (45-49) tahun dengan persentase (7,7%) pada rentang lama merokok selama >10 tahun sebanyak (12,8%) pada kategori perokok aktif sedang sebanyak (10,3%) serta aktivitas fisik pada kategori ringan (10,3%). Kesimpulan: penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar perokok aktif memiliki kadar koleterol total normal, kadar kolesterol total tidak normal lebih banyak diderita pada kelompok usia (45-49) tahun dengan persentase (7,7%) dan lama merokok selama >10 tahun dengan kategori perokok sedang serta aktivitas fisik kategori ringan.
